A 10 race hire-kart Championship at Lakeside and Brentwood tracks starting late February 2005.   5 events at Lakeside and 5 at Brentwood Park. All are evening races with sign-on at 7pm and racing commencing around 8pm.   Four races will be televised and it’s intended to broadcast 4 x 30 minutes programmes, provisionally scheduled for around June 2005.   The races will be varied consisting of some sprints, enduro-sprints and possibly an endurance event. The Championship is open to anyone over the age of 17.   Trophies will be awarded after each race, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall will qualify and win sponsorship for the National Finals later in the year.   Drivers will also be given 2-3 minutes in front of the camera on the final cut.
