just looking at the video it looks like those tyres are awful.id mention to the instructor what tyres your actually using as they dont seem to offer much grip at all.

you may though find you go a little quicker if you try and be a little smoother.try consciously taking 10/20% off your driving and you may very well end up going quicker as you spend less time fighting the kart or sliding about
