the system i used in ireland had overhead cameras, 3 at each corner, and was the best i have ever seen or used. the operator was very experienced and could call up any incident and view it at any speed from any direction. i have to say it disproved as many things as it proved.
as steve said tho it was very expensive and was only installed as a demo.
