You also seem to forget that TV is all about BUDGETS!

What on EARTH would be the cost-benefit of actually DOING the 'race' and then RE-runnning it for the filming????

You can get the same shots on the filming run as you could on on the 'race', but NOT the otrherway round. You then pretend that ALL the shots were done in the 'race'. That shows they don't mind 'bending the truth' (errrr...... lying through their teeth) so what would be the POINT of running the REAL race????? Do you think the 'bean counters' would LET them??????
