Is the helmet from the UK? Or did you get it form overseas? Best thing to do is to contact Pheonix NW, they are the UK importer/distributor for Arai helmets. There Tel number for techincal enquiries is: 01782 569847 website is www.phoenixnw.co.uk They may be able to help, i'd imagine they would need the helmet sending to them though for inspection should they be able to help.
