Well done derek and everyone else at CPKC on raising such a large sum for charity. It was even a good race meeting needing 5 heats to sort out the TKM extremes.

I feel guilty that other than buying Ł10 worth of raffle tickets and the Ł5 donation from my race entry, I contributed very little. On the other hand, derek wrote to lots of local businesses and kart traders who agreed to sponsor the event. Derek even featured on local radio.

As I'm feeling guilty, I have come up with a crazy idea (more details in a few months) and I promise to raise at least Ł200 towards next year's event. I challenge anyone and everyone to beat my total so that next year we can raise more than Ł3400.
