The TKM class have a dispensation for the wheels inside of the pods due to the tyres used. Most other classes have soft wet tyres so dont have a major issue for grip , where as the Maxxis red wets wont give any grip unless your well in on the rears. Tried a set of vega wets on a tkm 4 , it was 3 secs a lap quicker in the wet , with a back to back test against maxxis reds.
