I completely agree, karting is so fast and the circuits are so small (compared with cars), that it can be very fast trying to keep up with the action, so a mixture of onboard footage always looks good, and gives you an opportunity to watch some of the overtaking moves and so on.
If karting became a popular TV concept (which it should because it is such exciting racing) it would be AMAZING for the sport, because it would give so many people so many more sponsorship opportunities, helping to make it cheaper for some people, as well as supporting any more potential Lewis Hamiltons.
