Often bystanders assume a situation isn't under control because they don't have the advantage of knowing what the radio communication is.

If I have a paramed on scene I would be very much guided by them as to whether or not the race needed stopping, especially if the kart can be moved to a place of safety along with the driver as sounds happened in this instance!

A CoC can not be everywhere, but must learn how to delegate responsibility without abdicating it or the over all responsibility that remains at all times with the CoC.

Our Paramed at Wombwell is a fully trained BMMC Marshall and runs our Marshall Training Days and have every confidence when he is in attendance at a scene!
