They do everything they say they do! I've owned Mac's from the Mac Classics (altho' they weren't called that in those days) right thro' to a current Intel Duo processor laptop.

I have to confess I've rarely used a pc and when I have I find them cumbersome and harder to complete the same task.

Let's move to the generation without any pre conceived ideas about it all, my daughter who has state of the art pc' at school to use and has been put in for an ICT O Level at 13 (she don't get her brightness from me) but prefers her older G4 eMac and before I got her that she was more than content with a G3 imac although it was the white one with the decent Harmen Karden speakers.

Her pals parents are slowly but surely buying Macs and all of a sudden they realise the ease of operation from a Mac.

Her only limitation with the Mac for what she needs to do are video chat in MSN other than that she can also do everything she needs with a 5 years old Mac.

My 11 year old is a wizz with Print Shop and the ease of the Mac to do that.

Mac software is damned good and simple to use too eg I use packages like iWeb and it makes web publishing so easy, as a posed to say Dream Weaver and Rapid Weaver which are considerably harder. The media browser is a handy piece of kit and it makes transferring files for use in other packages pretty incredible.

I wish I was up to speed on Final Cut Pro, if I was I'd produce TV for Karting with it, maybe I'll do that this Winter!

I've never needed this to me mythical software that only a pc can provide!

For me Mac does what it says on the tin and it never fails to do so.
