"F1 drivers launch their cars across curbs, why can't karters"

Well, Formula 1 divers ALSO cheat in other ways. For example, Michael Schumacher's 'parking manouvre' at Monaco! Should karters be allowed to do THAT, too?

The Boss of the FIA is involved with ...... interesting ladies of a dubious nature..... should THAT mean that KARTERS should be TOO?

The world is SIMPLE! If you want to STOP people doing something, you make a rule against it and then ENFORCE it! The rule says that the white lines mark the limits of the track and NO ONE may go beyond them except 'in extremis'. If you DON'T want the rule enforced, CANCEL THE RULE!

It really IS that SIMPLE!

However, if we DO allow drivers to leave the track (by crossing the white lines at kerbs) how the **** are you going to BAN people from simply driving across the GRASS or even simply round and round the 'starting line'?????? If the rule about NOT leaving the track is NOT enforced, how would you PREVENT me doing THAT????!

If none of those answers satisfy you, I'll give you a simpler one why we should NOT ride the kerbs!:

It's CHEATING!
