Though the Buttons scheme is fantastic it is usually so oversubsribed you will only get 2/3 laps for your fiver. Not really enough to answer your question.

I took my 7 year old to PF mid week during his holidays and you can hire a kart for Ł20 for 15 mins. This was quickly followed by another 15 minutes which was a pretty clear answer for me!
