my boy was 6 when he started took him to buckmore park cadet club used there bambino and saftey gear when i though he'd took to it bought him a bambino Ł500 saftey gear cost Ł600 helmit was Ł300 no restriction on speed as the other guy said they find there own speed, when he wanted more speed i changed gearing untill he was hanging it out of every bend and straight, then got him a honda cadet, thats all in 8 months. give him a taster 1st might scare the daylights out of him
