We have raced for 13 years and never taken a generator to a race meeting. As Blobslosak said the caravan is pretty much self contained and while there have been times where a generator (for compressed air etc) would have been useful we have always managed without. One thing I want to know is why to some people turn up to a racetrack with a fully kitted motorhome and then fire the generater up for kettles/microwaves and then a TV!! When I'm at the track I actually enjoy being away from these things! A lot of people in superkarts are very sensible with generator use, they usually locate them out of the way etc and not right next to where someone is sleeping.

To be honest I probably wouldn't pay the Ł20 for a weekend of electricity, but thats just me.
