....purchased an entire 100cc kart for Ł350 quid (rolling chassis with two sets of tyres = Ł200 - 100cc Reed valve vortex with exhaust, mounts and rad = Ł150) and run it for a good few hours limiting it to around 17,000rpm, I can't fathom why Rotax ever demolished the 100cc grids!

This Ł350 kart will still east most rotax's, even rev limited, sounds brilliant and puts a smile on your face every time. It also teaches you carb management skills, all for less than a third of a full Rotax package. Now we've purchased another parilla motor that laps within 2 tenths of the original vortex from standard, madness. You'd never find one for sale at Ł25,000 either!
