I am going to start racing karts.I have been thinking about it for long time now. I have done lots of hire kart racing with friends over the last few years and now need to start real racing.I have entered the thunderkart hire series at warden law for the race experience, but i find them a bit slow. So i have alot of questions to ask. I would like to race 250 biland 4 stoke as they seem very quick and reliable, or prokarts. My weight is 80kg. What do the karts weigh? How long do you get out of the tyres? Would your own kart be faster than hire karts eg prokarts at teeside. Are there any other questions I should be asking? All replies would be appreciated.
