Having not used my kart for around 8 weeks during the winter, I got around to getting to a track last saturday, and after 3 laps my Alfano Pro stopped recording laps, and I'm unsure why. Over the winter I removed the alfano from the kart once, but surely this cannot have caused it. The only other thing that comes to mind is that on one of my first laps out I grounded the kart quite hard, could this have broken what I believe to be a very simple system (magnet on track induces charge...) Any suggestions on what may have caused this or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated, as I am loathed to buy a new sensor and lead unnecessarilly.
