Nice site.

While I agree that it reflects your experience, it might be useful to others to point out that this forum's usual advice is to go along to at least one race meeting first before buying your kart and talk to drivers etc to get some idea of what's out there and what suits you.

As you pointed out, you nearly got 'sold' a kart and engine by someone who, to give him his due, makes a living out of selling that kind of engine, and we have all heard of people who have found out too late.
