If the class were to run with the red labels, it could open up the possibility of running a libre class with different makes in areas where TKM is poor and alternatives like Rotax and Blue are strong (or vice versa). Net result = less classes, bigger grids.
The only thing that stops TKM lapping the same as Blues or maybe even Rotaxes is the low grip tyres. If all 3 were on similiar compound tyres, it'll certainly make the lap times alot more even between the 3.
Only problem is that they'll will become alot easier to drive. At the moment, TKM enjoys a reputation of creating drivers with excellent kart control. This reputation is unlikely to stick if the tyres were changed.
