Before you take a chance and spend money on a kart you know nothing about, find out what tracks are local to you and what classes they race there. Go along, take your son and ask the other drivers fathers as many questions as you like regarding getting your son into karting. They will HAPPILY give you all the info you need to get started. DONT just go and buy a kart hoping it will be ok to race. Do your homework first, it will turn out to be alot cheaper. Happy karting,,,,,
