The ones that are legal are the one piece ones made from thick steel or stainless steel..

The ones made of thin metal or with welded lugs were not accepted.

I spoke with Paul Klassen and our one piece set were used as the example at S1 of what was acceptable.

The reason the others are no longer accepted is a recent reported incident where part of a chassis protector broke off and hit a following driver in the head/neck.

I'm sure none of us would want an accident like that.
