The round trip for us was about 900 miles. My attitude is that I feel sorry for the people that made the mistake. They certainly didn't do it on purpose and I guess it is just one of those things in life that happens now and again. No one died - just that we couldn't race. There'll always be "next week" so take a chill pill. I also felt sorry for the locals that were asked to stand aside to reduce numbers but if anything I thought it should have been us (the S1 out of towners that don't contribute month in / month out to club funds etc) that should have withdrawn. I am sure everything will work fine in the future and good luck to them.
