this wont help you now but might in the future.

on a "straight" chassis mark a few datum points (further apart the better) and measure the distances to all the other points. keep this info in a safe place.

after a shunt remeasure and compare. best to use the same measuring technique.

combined with checking for rock on a flat surface (rotate the chassis to be sure) should tell you if any damage needs correcting
