If you set to three strips and a lap should take say 36 secs after an input of three strips, if one is missed out, the next strip picked up will be about 12 secs later, depending on the sector lengths, therefore 36 plus the 12 is 48.

Or am I going mad, I am old and stupid apparently, with alz... something or other........
