My son is nine years old and is desperate for a kart. He's been to a several arrive and drive sessions with hire karts and has spent overall about seven hours on the track throughout the last year.

I want to get him his own kart but haven't a clue which model which engine etc other than cadet kart?
I'm a single mum so dont have a huge budget or knowledge regarding motorsports!

Any advice or help would be much appreciated.
