doesn't have to be one piece, the ones you get off Ebay are an aluminium bracket with a plastic/nylon block bolted on. I made my own out of a black plastic sprocket protector, you can get three of them out of one protector. mine pass scrutineering EVERY time and they have never snapped off. make the template out of cardboard first, make sure it lines up with all the holes , chassis numbers etc then just scribe around it on the sprocket protector and cut out with junior hacksaw, SIMPLES and MUCH cheaper than buying them.
