...clutch, seeing as it took 11 years to get this one!

A new clutch just won't happen and even if it did, people would find a way to change its performance.

Perhaps John Hoyle would like to contribute a post to this site and give us a costing.

I'm sure it would be welcomed by clubs.

The clutch is not the only problem by far and clubs struggle to prevent people gaining an unfair advantage.

The PID tyre sniffer's effectiveness is now in question as it cannot detect tyre treatments and requires gas chromatography to detect treated tyres at great expense to any club that wanted to have a set of tyres analysed.

Clubs cannot afford this outlay and people who use it would feel safe in that knowledge and the fact that they could argue that the bag, etc had contaminated the tyres, a la ch****o.

It's at the stage where you just try and enjoy your karting and not worry about where you finish and mentally exclude those who you know are not quite playing the white man.

Why is it that it always costs the innocent party money to combat wrongdoing?

It should definitely be the other way round, shouldn't it?
