Its for his nose as he broke it a few years ago as for the footballers wearing them robbie fowler was the main man for it he to had a broken nose. Its something to do with when a nose is broken one side of the nose always suffers damage however minimal the thinking behind the strips is that it keeps this open. However they are not actually proven medically for sport but they are proved for snoring maybe its for when he goes to sleep during the races when he cant be bothered to overtake!!!
