Nothings for free in karting, or any motorsport for that matter.

For sure, teams might offer you "discounted" equipment, but you'll be forking out tonnes to run out of the best teams awning for a weekend, let alone getting a mechanic / driver tuition / using their kit.

Watch yourself with teams as well. Some of them are a bit unscrupulous when it comes to fleecing newbies out of money. If you are intent on going with a team, shop around, see who offers you the best deal.

On that subject, if its Rotax classes your into, get in touch with Walker Racing (www.walkerracing.co.uk). Neils a really nice bloke, and will genuinely try and help however he can!! Best place to go for a newcomer I'd say
