I don't think Steve is serious suggesting that you spend Ł2,500 on a kart for a six year old!!!
My grandsons first kart was bought from the karting.co.uk web site - a Davidson Honda Cadet with wets and slicks for Ł450. It was the ideal starter kart which if by any chance he did not like the sport I could get my money back. Also the Honda starts every time and will run all day long.
After a few month the kart was sold at a profit on eBay and replaced with a WTP Tony Kart - but by then I knew he loved driving. Just check out the adds and see how many karts are for sale after the child first run out, it frightens some kids to bits.
