Will be fitting my first seat at the weekend and can see it's going to be fiddly already.

I'm fitting a Large Tillett T11 to a Birel Easykart.

The seat arrived in the post and I just offered it up before fitting it at the weekend and it doesn't event fit between the chassis seat struts.

Given that it's so crucial to handling I'm really keen not to cock it up. That, and the fact that I cant afford a new seat if it all goes horribly wrong.

Any and all advice much appreciated.
