I think all along he pushed the idea of another track hosting it as a lever against Silverstone where he knows with more investment from them,nothing from him , and a little backing down from Mr Hill and the BRDC it would always be there.

Nice thought for it being at Donnington,but realistically was it really going to happen,planning,logistics ,timescale,oh and the money!especially when the recession hit UK

Brands also went down this route with the poisoned dwarf years ago as an alternative to Silverstone (another Bernie bluff) and it came to nothing.

Well at least hopefully D.Pk can go back to normal ,awesome track as it was anyway.
