Ive seen one of the bell CMR spec helmets, yes they are lite weight, but feel more like a bmx helmet IMO.
the rule is a joke, unless Arai are willing to give you a trade in on your old still legal helmet.
my 9 year old son saved up Ł300 of his own cash to buy a helmet he wanted, only now less than 12months later discover he should have just bought sweeties with the money.
think we will be doing non MSA racing at warden law in 2011.
personally i would have liked the MSA & FIA to have investigated how efective neck braces are in an accident rather than have us throw away perfectly good safety equipment.
