Thank you for the clarification QuickOldTimer. Whilton uses the optional yellow markers but does not reference them in drivers briefing, are they at fault?
Ashley accelerated after he passed the first yellow line, after the national flag had been shown and the green light was on. Also Steve Chapman was standing on the first line, he too stood out of the way and indicated for the race to proceed.
However, none of this is relevant if the 2nd man has a problem with his karts acceleration (in this case) due to having two rolling laps or no2 decides to hold back on purpose to get the pole man into this bother. What is the pole man to do if he accelerates and no2 doesn't, it appears its the pole mans fault right?
