shouldnt think so to be honest, as long as your track is the same length i dont think it will do anything!....

...i think that what our getting at is does having a shorter axle mean that the chassis will be stiffer, because the axle isnt as long, and therefore the bending moment on the axle is further in towards the axle.....

...in that case again as long as you have the extended hubs i dont think you will notice much, if any difference...

...i had a 1020 axle in my venon and then bought a 1040 after i nackered it.....didnt notice any change, the only difference was on the 1040 i was slightly further in on the axle than the 1020 to find a nice setting.
