'theoretical shelf life' - Funny how individual helmets can't be dated rather than have a blanket shelf life. How convenient for the helmet manufaturers. The MSA should address this blatant profiteering.

Other countries take a common sense approach to this, why can't the UK? Keep the blue label helmets for an extra year, but ask for scrutineers to pay 'special' attention to their condition. After all if that solution is good enough for something really dangerous like the ZIP nose cone, why not?
