Chassis Protectors to be banned ?

In October we read this from the ABkC;

"Chassis protectors will be banned by the CIK from 1st
January, and the MSA will follow suit, subject to
Council agreement. There have been some very
potentially dangerous incidents with them breaking
off."

Having read the changes to the 2010 Blue and Gold books 'Chassis Protectors' do not get a mention, are we to take it then that the 'Council' did NOT agree?

If so well done to them for trusting that the UK's scrutineers can be trusted to determine if any chassis protection is fitted safely without the help of the CIK. Every TonyKart owner will now be happy that they do not have to replace there chassis every 5 minutes!
