I think the dishonesty from the S1 organisers in this lies in the fact that the costs were not available to potential competitors before they were encouraged to register. You wouldn't buy into anything else before you knew what the total was going to be, would you ?
We were going to do a guest round but that looks to be out of the question as why would I buy the onboard camera just for one round?- and without knowing how much that might cost . The ATOL fuel is also and issue - I know we used 12 litres a meeting in 2009 - so why would you anyone need to order 25 litres ? The TKM entries were not huge last year and I can see a few people who may write off their registration fee and just not bother to put in their entries .
