The original point of the thread was about the anger at the entry fee going up far far too much for what you actually get back. This isn't about gearbox is better than xyz because it doesnt matter what you race and how fast you can go, you just want a RACE, whether its a 40mph indoor kart or a 150mph 250 twin.

Micheal was just pointing out that for Ł160 entry to S1 was getting silly and you could race proper circuits for that, never mind the running costs of a gearbox compared to a max.

But like i said if its too fast or dangerous for you then stick to your TKM, others might not agree with you though
