Hi
you will get more replies if you place it in the 4 stroke section. however because he is so new getting the engine upto speed will only make about 1 second diffrence if he know's how to use the extra power. the honda engine and any engine for that matter really needs you to carry the pace through the corner to carry speed. so i wld reckomend going out a few more time's adn when he becomes within 4 seconds of experienced honda cadet racers/drivers then think about getting the engine tuned by an engine builder. either UFO or RPM but he will benefit from time in seat alot more at the moment.
