for those that are interested,here is some rear facing footage i had from a few years ago(very pixelated due to having to reduce resolution to fit).

whilst there is loads forward facing there isnt a lot of rear(ive seen a few people mention it

the problem in catching contact is that the camera doesnt move(this applies to front facing cameras also)and only points in the direction the kart is facing and so as you can see from the footage in just one heat,not all contact will be cought,and in fact i would imagine a large portion of contact will be difficult to prove even if its cought on camera

onboard footage isnt the "answer",its an aid

i was thinking about it today and thought maybe helmet mounted cameras would work(to see where the driver is looking)but you dont move your head when your racing,just your eyes.there are several instances of contact in the footage below but what could be enforced?
