I don't think they want to break into the club market. Once you do that you need to allow traders/engine builders to hold stock of spares and you lose control of things. Could you impose the same strict restrictions on parts at club level?
This could be an issue with the cadet karts as the rules insist that comer engines are the fastest. Then easykart engines (like wtp) have restrictors - otherwise they would leave comers for dead.
If the market needs an easykart type of class at club level then maybe another manufacturer could step in or, as you suggest, Talko could move to a single chassis, controlled parts class.
