When you see and have seen as many karting incidents as Alan and I have, you'll KNOW that no matter how sensible YOU think you are, someone will do something STUPID!

I am NOT claiming to be perfect. I went sailing with my family in a strong wind on a beautiful day in Greece. The wind rose steadily rose to a force 10 and we sialed merrily on. I got my family to wear safety harnesses but FORGOT (or was too damned stupid to THINK about) to get them (or me) to wear a LIFE JACKET! I still KICK myslef for my unforgivable STUPIDITY!

We ALL make cock-ups. I wish to GOD someone had had the B*LLS at the time to tell me how stupid I was being about the life jackets (shudder!).
