I think your making things far to hard for yourself.. why not ( if you can ) borrow a proper kart starter ( the type used for TKM etc )just change the socket on the end to suit your crank nut. Im sure these type will have plenty of go in them to start your engine, Its just a thought to save you spending out on loads of parts & hard work...
