From my experience in ICC where we were constantly exposed to high winds, coupled with gym work focusing on neck strength, I didnt have a problem with not having a headrest or neck brace in my brief spell in 250 at Long Circuit. But I've seen Sam and a number of others with regular U shaped neck braces that obviously do the job, so I'd just stick with that. Just make sure your seat is laid back right and not tilting forward at the top, that is uncomfortable!!
