The reason it seems to give is that the weight difference between a 11 and 17 yr old is too great so we MUST have an intermediate class.

Have the rules changed or can u no longer switch to seniors in the year of your 16th birthday? Which would mean the age gap is actually 11 yr olds to high 15 yr olds.

Also, as it crosses over the boudries between cadet and junior why would u switch? As WEIGHT is the apparant issue the younger driver supposadly has the advantage anyway and doesnt need to buy new kit for maybe 1 years use.
