Hang on a minute ....I think we have all lost the plot here and what this is about -never mind the motivation of the whistle blower. That's not the point
S1 went out of their way to justify the HUGE hike in entry fees based on the cost of TV coverage to a wide audience.
I never for one moment believed that there could be a audience that big to be interested in a Minority sport .
I also never believed that a couple of "blink and you'll miss it" frames on TV would greatly influence the opportunity to gain sponsorship..... what on earth would a broadcast to some poor former eastern bloc country do for our chances of some dosh to go racing - absolutely nil and if anyone thinks otherwise they are very naive. But S1 obviously believes some folks to be completely gullible.
