Remember that all this wheel lifting etc was intended to be done while the kart is in motion.

Turning the steering wheel from lock to lock while you bum is in the seat puts unneccesary strain on the steering components and chassis.

That strain is less when the kart is doing it 'dynamically'.

Thery wear out fast enough as it is.
