It sounds like that is exactly your issue Andy. I had a similar issue at practice at Dunks this weekend. I had setup my Mychron4 to have a minimum laptime of 40s thinking that as a lap is in the 46-48s window that 40s would be good.

I ended up with laptimes on the Mychron of 1:55 and so on. After reducing it back down to 10s it worked fine. I had assumed that the setting was for minimum laptimes (the whole lap) but it appears to be minimum time between strips. So if you have 3 strips the mimimum setting should be lower than the quickest split time for any of the 3 sectors.

Give that a try and see what happens.
