no the clutch comes as part of the engine, there has been several upgrades to the clutch as rotax are struggling to perfect it. the reason i blame both msa and jag is they should find some common ground untill the clutch is bullet proof and does not fail. it is not hard for the scrutaneer to determine weather it has been tamperd with or greased,, incedentaly while the clutch was slippin it was actually a disadvantage, his fastest laps were wen it stopped. the clutch will have come with the engine that steve ogden supplied which for mike will have been the best and thoroughly checked.
jon gravitts explanation to me on the day was and i quote, "what do you want me to do, allow slipping of the clutch or accept that this sort of thing is going to happen" my answer to that is niether, as i have never slipped a clutch i would be at a serious disadvantage untill i learned how to, and i dont accept that this sort of thing will happen because there is far too much money at stake,,, what i want is the clutch to not be a problem.!,,,, jon gravitt (jag/rotax) sort the clutch),,, paul klassen (msa) its not too dificult to determine sombody who has purposley caused slipping and punish accordingly untill rotax have the issue in hand!
